Commercial P&C

The Book sends the loss-run request.

It goes to the writing company on that line. The policy number is already on the thread. It sends from the account manager inbox, so the carrier sees the person they already know. You still review the reply and finish the file.

How the chase starts

One line. One carrier. Policy # on the request.

A 5-year loss run is not a group email. Travelers on the GL is not the package carrier on the auto. The Book addresses the writing company on that policy and keeps following up from the AM inbox.

WHAT IT STARTS

The request

Commercial P&C loss-run outreach the account manager already runs by hand.

  • Loss runs to the writing company on that line
  • Policy number already in the subject and body
  • Send and follow-up from the AM inbox
  • Status stays with the work: awaiting carrier, needs broker, needs client

WHAT IT IS NOT

On purpose

The file stays in the AMS. Certificates stay there too.

  • Not an AMS. Epic, AMS360, HawkSoft, NowCerts stay the system of record
  • Does not issue certificates or produce ACORD forms
  • Does not download the loss run for you or store the policy file
  • The broker finishes the chase and files the artifact

Short answers

Before you put a renewal in it.

No. The request leaves the account manager inbox. Follow-up stays on that thread.
Then it starts there. Status stays needs client until the carrier can be asked.
This page is loss runs. The same Book also starts audits and renewal follow-up. Employee benefits Schedule A is a different line of work.
In the AMS, where you already file it. Closing the chase means filed, not uploaded here as a vault.

See a loss-run chase in The Book.

Then book a demo if the motion matches how your AMs already work.
